*If you are eligible voter in an active campaign, who is looking for further information and/or assistance in casting a telephone vote, please review CondoVoter's Telephone Voting Guide. For further frequently asked questions related to telephone voting, please see below.
What is telephone voting?
Telephone voting is a voting method in which voters are able to cast a vote virtually, by telephone, without the need to access an internet device.
How does telephone voting work with CondoVoter?
Voters are provided with a dial-in number and confidential access code to access their virtual ballot by telephone. All ballots and their respective selections are presented verbally through CondoVoter's text-to-speech technology, allowing voters to listen to their options and select their votes.
How are telephone votes tallied?
CondoVoter's telephone voting system automatically integrates with CondoVoter's online voting system. When a telephone vote is submitted, the results are tabulated in real-time and automatically appear with the online voting results.
When can I cast a telephone vote?
Voting timelines varies by community. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your vote opening and/or closing date, please contact your management for further information.
For communities participating in advance voting: Voting will typically open at a minimum of 10-15 days prior to the meeting; this however can differ by your community's specific guidelines and types of votes taking place.
For communities participating in real-time voting only (no advance voting): The vote will typically open once the meeting has been officially called to order.
Voting will most often remain open all the way up until the vote is closed at the meeting (if applicable) and the final results are declared.
